IKCC officially presented in Nairobi and Genoa

June 2026 — The Italian Kenyan Chamber of Commerce (IKCC) was officially presented this month in a double ceremony: in Nairobi, hosted by the Italian Embassy, and in Genoa, Italy, during the 35th World Congress of the Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad.
Speaking at the Nairobi presentation, Italian Ambassador Vincenzo Del Monaco underlined that diplomatic and cooperative relations between Italy and Kenya have never been stronger, thanks above all to the launch of the Mattei Plan for Africa. The event was also attended by Lorenzo Ortona, Deputy National Coordinator for the Mattei Plan.

IKCC President Fabrizio Cardillo presented the Chamber’s strategic focus areas — energy, critical minerals, logistics, agri-food, infrastructure, manufacturing, tourism, innovation, training and services — and invited companies from both countries to join the Chamber’s growing network.
